STILL WAITING ...

Our short summer is here, the snow is almost all melted now, the mosquitos are out in full force, the moose are raiding my wife's garden .. and I hope to get my garage mucked out and prepared to build. I'm still waiting for the drawings to get here from Jordan Lake Aero ... and with them I'll get a better idea of how to arrange my workshop. I'm moving finances now to be able to pay Jordan Lake for the complete kit package for the tandem bird; the shipping & crating cost to North Pole is not going to be cheap so I have to figure in that as well as the cost for the engine once I can find a dealer to sell me one that I want ...I've sent an email to an outfit in Oregon about the Hirth engine but do far no reply. I can't seem to find RecAero on line anymore?? I have to wonder if they have gone out of business. This is all a part of plans built experimental in the Alaska interior ... part of the journey. At least this will count into the "for educational purpose" of the 51% rule ... hahahah ....
