Adjustment and fibreglass work on main wheel spat covers
It was found that the holes originally made in the main wheel spat cover plates - guided by dimples in the composite - were not quite in the right position. Using the box jigs it become clear that the spats needed to be rotated slightly. Also the difficulty in closing the main spat covers - originally addressed by bending the forward facing flange of the mouting plate - was in reality due to intereference between the top edge of the main spat cover and the landing gear leg.
