Inventory of unused connectors supplied with Dynon avionic kits
S-INTERCOM-2S:
1 x DB25 female kit with crimp barrel sockets - this will not be needed since a SV-HARNESS-INTERCOM was purchased
SV-42 Servos (2 units)
1 x DB9 female kit with crimp barrel sockets - these is needed to terminate the cable to connect to the network hub
Only 4 connections are needed for the DB9 connection to the network hub and 7 connections in the interconnect at the servo
There are 9-7 = 2 pins left
There are 18-7 = 11 sockets left with each servo. After doing the network hub interconnect there will be 7 sockets left, or 14 sockets and 4 pins between two servos
SV-ADSB-472
1 x DB9 male kit with crimp barrel sockets - this will not be needed since a SV-HARNESS-ADSB was purchased
SV-COM-PANEL
1 x DB15 female kit with crimp barrel sockets - this is needed to plug in the back of the unit
SV-AP-PANEL
1 x DB15 female kit with crimp barrel sockets - this is needed to plug in the back of the unit
SV-COM-T25
1 x DB25 female kit with crimp barrel sockets - this is needed to plug in the back of the unit
SV-XPNDR-262
1 x DB25 male kit with crimp barrel sockets - this will not be needed since a SV-HARNESS-XPNDER was purchased
SV-NET-20CP
1 x DB9 female kit but no crimp barrel sockets - this is needed to terminate the cable to connect to the network hub. The crimped wire ends may be useable
So the following are free
1 x DB25 female kit with crimp barrel sockets - 25 sockets can be used elsewhere
1 x DB9 male kit with crimp barrel sockets - 9 pins can be used elsewhere
1 x DB25 male kit with crimp barrel sockets - this can be used with the EMS220 for the thermocouples, 16 pins used but 9 left over
Connectors that need to be bought:
1 x DB37 female for the EMS 220 sensor inputs, not all the connections will be used
There are 25+14 = 39 sockets left over from the other kits, so only a shell need be purchased. One set of jack screws is also left over.
There are 18+4 = 22 pins left over from the other kits
The D30 has a male DB25 connector, with only 2 connections. So the DB25 female kit shell listed above can be used, requiring only 2 sockets (assuming the D30 does not come with a connector)
It is actually economic to just purchase the Dynon network cables, so the following are needed:
HDX1100 has two ports
- outgoing to the ADHRS - purchase
- outgoing to the hub - purchase
The hub has 5 remaining ports
- incoming from HDX1100
- outgoing to the EMS220 - purchase
- outgoing to SV-COM-PANEL - purchase
- outgoing to the magnetometer - wires and connectors already present
- outgoing to the autopilot servos (this can be split) - wires and connectors already present
The SV-COM-PANEL has 2 ports
- incoming from the hub
- outgoing to the SV-AP-PANEL - purchase
The SV-AP-PANEL has 2 ports
- incoming from the SV-COM-PANEL
- outgoing port uncommitted
5 cables needed
