Install metal M10 locknut on engine mount bolts and torque
The engine mounting bolts were dipped in oil before installing the nuts. The Sling 2 service manual specified a tightening torque of 38Nm assuming the bolt is oiled. This specification presumes the use of the original nylon locknuts. I found that the pre-torque of the Nylon - when the bolt is oiled - was less than 1Nm. However I found that the pre-torque of the new KHX-M10-150 was around 2Nm, varying about 0.5Nm each way. So I corrected for this by torquing to 38Nm - pre-torque of nylon locknut + pre-torque of metal locknut ~ 40Nm
As shown below I installed all four engine mount bolts tail-aft.
