Rudder - fitted control horn, stiffeners, ribs, match drilled
Fitted rudder control horn to root rib, set up bench for further work. Fitted skin stiffeners with clecos. Fitted root rib to skin. Fitted top rib to skin. Fitted center rib to skin. Marked holes to drill in rudder hinge.
*top rib fitted to assembly using the provided spacer. This spacer ensures that the whole assembly is straight as being trapezoidal it would be twisted if laying fat against the work table. This spacer also provided the idea to use the fixture to ensure end ribs sit flush against end of skin. I used the same method here as I did for the LH Elevator. Provider spacer (red plastic) and fixture (mdf) as seen in pictures.
