Panel connector 4 - HDP20 18-8

Use Deutsche HDP20 18-8 connector

Panel mount receptacle should have female contacts

Size 12 contacts - 8 available

• regulator output (also connects to 22000uF capacitor) - 1 wire 14 AWG
• overall ground return wire - 1 (or 2) wire 12 AWG
• 12V supply from battery - 1 (or 2) wire 10 AWG (or 12 AWG)
• ground from battery/grounding point on firewall - 1 wire 10 AWG (or 12 AWG)

6 size 12 wires in all, 8 available.

UPDATE 250620:

Due to difficulty in obtaining HDP24-18 E-seal connectors, this connector has been dropped from the design. Instead an in-line cable connector will be used, a 4-way DTP E-seal connector. The support for the external alternator will be dropped.
