Started the laborious task of disassembling the tailcone due to laser cut parts. I am replacing all of the frames and the bulkheads. My plan is to drill out the rivets that mount the frames to the skins, and then dill out the rivets that mount the side skins to the bottom skin and keep the rivets that mount the J-stiffeners to the skin to limit the amount of rivets that needed to be drilled out. The hope is to be able to keep the J-stiffeners installed and then slide the side skins on to the frames and bulkhead. Still to be determined if this method will work or not.
