(This may be a duplicate post). Finally completed correcting two errors that occurred a year ago. First, the rear spar doubler for the horizontal stabilizer was installed upside down. Second, one of the holes that was drilled to mount the aft spar to the attach points on the empennage was elongated (page 11-06, step 1). To correct this, David Howe upsized the hole to accommodate an AN5 bolt but machined a sleeve to bring it back down to an AN4 as the plans call for. The previous horizontal stabilizer rear spar and doubler were removed and replaced with a new one. Dave created some drill guides to slowly work our way up to an AN4 bolt, perfectly matching the existing holes in the horizontal stabilizer attach bars. Everything came together beautifully and now I can finally close this chapter and move on.
