I used an assistant who was familiar with rivet filling from other Sling builds to fill the rivets for me on the wings, fuselage, empennage and other control surfaces. Used Sikapower 4720 on the recommendation of another builder. Applied using 5ml syringes with no needles. The Sikapower was extruded as a bead onto a working surface without using the mixing nozzle, since only about a finger-length is used at time, the cartridge can then be resealed between uses. The bead was then manually mixed and inserted into the syringes, the rivets filled and then left to dry

Excess fill was removed from the rivets using a long utility knife blade protected at each end with some masking tape. It probably would have been better to wipe off excess before it dried. Nevertheless, I'm happy that a major job is well on its way to being complete
