Purchased bondo and glass microspheres. The microspheres will help the glass adhere to the urethane foam by creating a more uniform base, and moreover make volumes of epoxy lighter (since the spheres are hollow). More recent missives from the designer suggest spreading it on many more foam surfaces than the plans suggest.
