More Firewall Forward Stuff

While waiting on a custom avionics tray to arrive and I went back to work on firewall forward stuff over the past few days. This included riveting together the oil cooler shroud. Then sealing all gaps in it with RTV. The goal being to force as much air as possible through the oil cooler. I did an initial install of the cooler to check fit and run the inlet and outlet oil lines to check fit and placement of any needed Adel clamps. Van's provides clamps but I purchased a bunch more in various sizes from Aircraft Spruce to have plenty on hand if needed. I also attached, at least temporarily, various fuel, oil, manifold pressure lines and breather tubes. Multiple Adel clamps are needed to secure various lines to the motor mount to prevent vibration and chaffing. I'm trying to work from aft to forward and from the inside out as various systems are added to the engine compartment. Things are going to get crowded in there once engine control and heater cables, SCAT tubing, and CHT and EGT wiring are added. Then there's the exhaust system. One thing at a time.
